URBAN FARMER MURAL

The Urban Farmer Project, initiated by London’s Community Kitchen,
aims to address pressing food security issues in London while simultaneously reducing food waste and promoting sustainable farming practices.

Thomas Franks will produce thousands of meals weekly for vulnerable communities in London.

Located on Shoe Lane, just off Fleet Street, this innovative project transforms a neglected urban plot into a vibrant
hub for sustainable food production and community engagement. The space will also showcase new technology and provide a better
understanding of sustainable growing methods such as fermentation, dark room growing, hydroponics, fungiculture, microgreens, and more.

My abundant greens, herbs and veg wrap the facade and foyer.
A fantastic opportunity to promote the project and practices that protect and preserve our planet.

The Urban Farmer project was unveiled by The Lord Mayor of the City of London.

Thanks to my painting assistant Lauren Edmonson and Puck for the additional vinyl Logos.
